Sister Schools
Curriculum developed using the Dick & Carey Model Instructional Systems Designs Process
Sister Schools is an educational program that links American and Zambian schools. Students participate in a globally connected, synchronous and a-synchronous distance-learning experiential classroom exchange utilizing Smart boards and Skype.
This innovative approach for virtual education classrooms creates global connections, distance-learning opportunities and rich cultural exchanges among students across the continental divides, given the privileges and the educational technologies available to educate the world.
Young students are trained to be competent, socially responsible global leaders who will make significant contributions to the marketplace and excel in our growing international environment. Participants learn about each other’s countries and the global issues that connect them.
